Six decades in showbiz has cemented Nicholas Parsons’ position as a true national treasure in the UK. But fans could be forgiven for being concerned for the 92 year-old’s health, as he is seen for the first time in 9 months looking shockingly frail.
The entertainer, perhaps best know as the beloved ‘Just A Minute’ compare, is almost unrecognisable when spotted leaving the BBC’s studios in central London. Having clearly lost a lot of weight, leaving his face gaunt, he is also heavily reliant on his stick.
This is in stark contrast to his last public appearance, at last year’s Chelsea Flower Show, where he looked far more sprightly.
Another of his notable successes in his long career, for which he was awarded an OBE in 2004, was the Sale Of The Century gameshow, which he hosted for 12 years.
