A motorcade of iconic cars go for a spin around Swindon’s famed Magic Roundabout as part of the town’s 175th anniversary.

In recognition of the town’s historic link with motor manufacturing, Minis, Rovers, Chryslers and Daimlers bring the much-loved landmark to a standstill as part of the planned event.

All the vehicles in the parade were at least partly constructed at the Wiltshire town’s former Pressed Steel site – now a BMW MINI plant – which celebrates its 60th anniversary this year.

Swindon’s Magic Roundabout is one the country’s most unique junctions, consisting of five mini-roundabouts arranged around a sixth central, anti-clockwise roundabout.
